Answer: Various tasks of a professional manager : Management is the process of designing and maintaining an environment in individuals, working together in groups, efficiently accomplish selected aims. This basic definition needs to be expanded.

1. As managers, people carry out the managerial functions of planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling.
2. Management applies to any kind of organization.
3. It applies to managers at all organizational levels.
4. The aim of all managers is the same; to create a surplus.
5. Managing is concerned with productivity; this implies effectiveness and efficiency.

Q.2. Explain various models of decision making process. Describe a model which is most suitable to your organization or an organization you are familiar with and why? Describe the organization, you are referring to.

Answer: Decision making is usually defined as the act of making up your mind about something. However, the process of decision making is not as easy as it sounds.

Defining the Problem: The first step towards a decision making process is to define the  problem. Obviously, there would be no need to make a decision without having a problem. Answer: Leadership is defined as influence that is the art or process of influencing people so that they will strive willingly and enthusiastically toward the achievement of group goals. Ideally people should be encouraged to develop not only willingness to work but also willingness to work with zeal and confidence.
